It is very great app！

This app is good but nobody pays for africaans

I got this app because Ive always wanted to learn a new language and Ive been into the movies like "District 9" and "Chappie" that are based in South Africa. You have to pay a butt ton to learn any other popular language, so I chose one a little less known in hopes of finding something free. Low and behold, I found Mondly. This app is great. The graphics are nice and bright, you have the option to go back and look at your previous lessons just in case you forgot anything; ( or if youre like me, this app is a tad fast for my language learning capabilities. Not only can you look at previous lessons, they actually repeat some of the quicker stuff in future lessons so theyre not just lost back there.) and you always have the option to pay more to get more out of the app. I have not paid a dime yet and I could probably have a fairly decent tourist conversation with a local. Great app.

This app is easy to use and runs well. I particularly like the conversation practice. However! After using it for a few days I have noticed a pretty serious issue. I agree with the other reviewer that found many inconsistencies and errors. A few lessons in, Im already finding errors. This is extremely disappointing to me as a new-ish student to Afrikaans. Particularly frustrating to pay to unlock the full version when Im constantly having to look up answers or ask my native Afrikaans-speaking friend to make sure the app is correct (and its often not) or being failed out of a lesson because it wants me to choose an answer that is not even provided as a choice!! I was extremely happy to discover this app to learn Afrikaans because most of the mainstream apps leave the language out, but please have some native Afrikaans speakers go over this version of your app and check for errors and inconsistencies so that people like me who want to learn the language can do so correctly.

I was born in South Africa and moved to America with my family because of financial reasons. Its been 7 years and speaking English all the time has made me forget some of the Afrikaans language. I wanted to be able to text my friends and talk to my family in South Africa fluently. I went looking and downloaded this app. I just started but after completing a few lessons I new this was going to help me very much. I thank the creators for making this AMAZING app!

The performance of the app need improvement, as I have been forced to shut down my phone many times after the app caused the whole thing to crash. Other than that, this has been an excellent tool in aiding my learning of Afrikaans.

I really am having fun learning Afrikaans with this app. It simple to use and to follow. It also has surprising challenges. Ive gone through six lessons tonight, and will do more before the day is done. Thanks for this app! I really needed to learn some basic Afrikaans - and Im getting it here.

Fantastic program! Based soundly in learning principles. And it is great fun to study Afrikaans using it. I have had no issues with the app.

I love this app! Im learning a lot and the app is nicely designed, good layout, not glitchy. If you need to learn Afrikaans for cheap, this is the way to go.

Okay i take back my last rating it works the next day i guess they dont want you to do all the lessons in one day

I was looking for an app that would help me learn afrikaans and came across mondly through an online web search. I must say i love this app! Its an app that has native speakers pronouncing the words and matching the phrases with photos. The in app price is $14.99 and you get full access to every bundle "forever" . So i cant wait to buy it soon! If you dont want to buy the full Bundle you still can use the app for free still which is great! I love this app and will recommend it to anyone

Great app. Makes Afrikaans easy to learn. It includes pictures as well as voice so you can hear each word pronounced. Very fun! I definitely recommend this app!

This app is great, I defiantly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Afrikaans. By the way, this is a very fun language to speak, Im also learning Russian, and compared to that this is a breeze.

One of the best apps I have tried. I have so much fun and I really feel like I learn something new in every lesson.

I love this app! My husbands first language is Afrikaans and his whole family speaks it, so I really want to learn. Mondly has been the first and only learning tool for Afrikaans that works and I have so much fun doing it! I highly recommend spending the $15 for the full version.

I dont believe I will ever be proficient with this app. I tried the premium version in the hope it would be better. I hope it wasnt a mistake.
